A person is rapidly living on the edge of existence when to their horror, in the corner of the room, they spot the non-being that haunts them.
Based off a concept from 'Being and Nothingness' by Jean-Paul Satre and experimenting with a constantly changing art style, here's a little silly 2D animation to say welcome to 2021.

Can you stomach this? A painful slow wait as the tension and anger builds up as a bound man seeks his revenge in this animated short by Old Man Chimes, animated in Toon Boom Harmony. Can you wait until the payoff? Patience will be rewarded.
A dark, gruesome and violent cartoon, where there are more questions than there are answers. A man starts off tied to a fridge with a ripped off leg. Strong elements of cartoon violence, gore and body horror throughout. What happened to him beforehand, and why? Should the old woman help him? Did she see him? Should he still be there? Should you reevaluate the actions and motives of these characters?

A man is tied to a fridge with no means of escape. An old woman on a frame, slowly and painfully walks across the screen but does not seem to see him. He tries to call out but his tongue disintegrates. She carries on walking, slowly. All seems to be lost until a cute crow pecks away his ties. Violence ensues as his rage is unleashed.

A ghost like man with a pale face and creepy eyes, rushes down some stairs to his basement. He knows you are there and offers you a yogurt as you look unwell. You make the mistake of looking at his wood boy in the corner. At this point, the ghost gets particularly angry and menacing as he tries to calm his wood boy down.
