The spring 2010 Parents & Science program examined this compelling question from the viewpoint of biology as well as psychology. This lecture featured widely acclaimed clinical psychologist and school consultant MICHAEL THOMPSON, author of Raising Cain: Protecting the Emotional Life of Boys. The biological perspective was provided by leading neuroscientist MARGARET MCCARTHY, who has made key discoveries about sex-related differences in the brain thatinfluence personality and behavior throughout childhood, adolescence,
