Cape Verde, or Cabo Verde, is an African Island in the Atlantic Ocean. From the port of Mindelo, we took a panoramic tour of the island. We visited quickly a small museum in Mindelo before heading for sweeping views and the beach. The first stop was the windy Monte Verde for sweeping and stunning views of the island and the port city of Mindelo. Our next stop was a wavy Salamansa Beach. We had just enough time to walk through the sand and listen to the roar of the waves. Last was a cultural dance show with snacks. St Vincent or Sao Vincente is a beautiful island and our guide said they are trying to get more tourism infrastructure in place. It certainly has the views and the beaches.
