Kulturnatt Stockholm, the Stockholm Night of Culture, is an annual night where museums, theaters and interesting stores stay open late and arrange tons of different activities. A lot of these activities concern high culture and fine arts...but that's not what I'm after. I want to see all the geek culture events happening at the Stockholm Culture Night!
I start my little tour of Kulturnatt Stockholm 2023 by visiting the Science Fiction Bookstore - a place where you can always be sure to find the very best of geek culture. But I also visit other places such as the Royal Palace, the Royal Armoury, and the Medieval Museum. All of these places feature more or less geeky activities - but there's more to come, of course.
After a short bit of information about the Culture Night, and comparing it with Nuit Blanche from Paris and Madrid, I head over to the Stockholm Toy Museum, to properly engage in the type of culture I'm a fan of. And after that, we of course have to pay a visit to Östasiatiska museet, the Museum of East-Asian Culture. They happen to have events from Mongolia, Japan and Korea - so it's bound to be quite exciting.
To round things off I take a walk through Sergels torg, to see what else is happening, and I head to Space - the relatively newly opened gaming center in the center of the city. What's going to happen there? Well, I guess you'll have to watch the video to find out...
