Announcing a fundraiser to procure a niche for actor H. B. Warner at Chapel of the Pines.

H. B. Warner was a noted actor from the silent and early talkie eras. He's remembered for his roles in films like The King of Kings, Lost Horizon (a role which earned him an Oscar nomination), and the perennial Christmas classic It's a Wonderful Life, as Mr. Gower. After his death in 1958 he was cremated, his ashes placed in the community vault at Chapel of the Pines in Los Angeles (which has no public access). Having received permission from living relatives, we are undertaking efforts to have Mr. Warner's ashes retrieved from the vault, and placed in a public niche in the Chapel of the Pines Columbarium, where he can finally be visited by those who still love and remember him all these years later. The funds raised here will go to the cost of the new niche, name tablet, and other associated cemetery fees.
