It's time to go back to the roots of my Harry Potter speedrunning career and take a closer look again at one of my favorite categories to play across the years: the 100% Speedrun of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets! This run takes place in my already favorite speedgame and instead of rushing through it and missing half the interesting parts of this game we are instead collecting and completing essentially everything this game has to offer!
Not only are we getting all 101 Cards in this game but on top of that we make sure to get all the secrets across all levels, beat everyone in both the dueling club and also the Quidditch cup and even go as far as beating all the the developer set "Goal times" for each of the 4 spell challenges which can actually be more of a challenge for some of them than you would imagine. And all of those requirements combined make sure we get to see the entire game and all of the interesting areas you usually skip during Any% playthroughs of it and gave us a proper journey through this beautiful gem of a game!
And of course there is even more to the run now as I want to showcase to you guys today because the community was really cooking with the route of the category in the past couple of months and crafted a very creative and impressive route that helps us to beat this game significantly faster now. It mostly comes down to minimize the time we spend inside the bean bonus room as much as possible by actually SKIPPING the first two spell challenges and then coming back to them later after all bonus rooms have already concluded to keep the house points as low as possible. And of course that leads to a ton of additional reroutes throughout the run regarding the card route so I hope you are going to enjoy the new and improved version of the Harry Potter 2 (PC) 100% Speedrun!
