PickMon is a brand new open-world survival monster game that looks like the ultimate mashup. But unlike Pokémon or Palworld, you don't use balls to catch these creatures; you use cards. While the card mechanic is different, everything else is incredibly familiar. From a protagonist that looks exactly like Link to creatures that resemble Charizard and Lucario, PickMon is already being called "Lawsuit-maxxing" by fans. Even more controversial are the reports from fan artists who claim their original "Fakemon" designs were stolen and used in the game's official art.
