I bought my original chairs after a cross country move when we were just desperate for some chairs. It was pandemic times and I grabbed them from the end of a lady’s driveway and brought them back home. I had no vision for what the dining room would become but I was grateful for the chairs and we’ve used them lots the last three years!
Now that the room has taken shape, however, the chairs didn’t feel right. They’re quite big, very tall, and a different style to what I’m trying to accomplish in the room. For the last year or so I’ve been gently perusing for chairs on fb marketplace waiting for the perfect new chairs. I was in no rush because the old chairs work great and look well enough but I was keeping my eyes out in case something came up. Lo and behold these new chairs appeared on marketplace for $150 and my jaw dropped. They’re complete perfection! They’re elegant and cozy and I love the colour. I found the old chairs to be quite clunky and heavy and the new ones I can lift with one hand. My mom and I were saying how much the new chairs open up the room! It feels so much bigger now that there are more sight lines and not so many big furniture pieces. I’m so happy with these beauties 🥳 I’m glad I waited because they feel like a perfect victory of the exact style I was hoping for at a price that feels unbeatable. Hurrah!
