Welcome adventurer, to the volatile lands of Rasfadal. A region forged through iron and fire.
A 15 year conflict has wreaked havoc across the realm. War, betrayal and clan rivalry have left nothing but smoke and ashes in their wake.
On one side, The Iberian Crowns, and on the other the Knights of Bretonnia. Both sought to bring order and stability to Rasfadal, but in their blindness, could not see the devastation they had wrought while seeking a common goal.
It was only when the federal kingdom of "Les Combattants" stepped in that a peace was finally negotiated, for the greater good of the people.
A calmness befell the region, and the citizens rejoiced under their new stewards, The Iberian Crowns. But alas, it was not to last. The region was destined to suffer from endless war.
In the South, a former ally of the Iberian Crowns, Vestmar Dominion made plans of conquest in secret. The war-mongering faction of the south loathed the brokered peace, which compelled them to relinquish their conquered lands back to the people.
Their leader sowed the seed of Rebellion in Rasfadal. An endeavour designed to bring instability to the lands. Agents were sent to deceive the people. Hatred and hostility began to spread like a cancer across the region. What started as an ember, slowly matured into a roaring fire.
Years pass, and the flames of rebellion take hold. Rasfadal is once again plunged into lawlessness, anarchy and misery.
The time is right, the Vestmar Dominion declare their intent on seizing the region from The Iberian Crowns, and march north with the objective and claiming power and riches.
Alone, The Iberian Crown cannot resist this tide of malice that descends on them. An unlikely alliance with a former enemy, The Kingdom of Bretonnia, is formed. The Bretonnians are bound by honour to respect the hard-earned peace of old, and aid their newfound allies in returning order and stability to the realm.
The lines are drawn between the two opposing superpowers, forcing small clans and factions to pick a side. Which will you join adventurer?
