Flat, grey and drizzly - must be a stratus cloud.

These layer clouds prevent sunlight reaching the surface and trap outgoing heat from the Earth, warming the surface at night and cooling it in the day.

Climate change will have an influence on stratus, and this in turn will affect our climate - just one of many complex climate feedbacks.
