Forgotten sections of Chicago’s south side Englewood neighborhood are, however briefly, made visible again by members of the community. Sean Anderson, associate curator in MoMA's Department of Architecture and Design, talks about Amanda Williams’s Color(ed) Theory Suite (2014–16), in which the artist’s brightly painted houses, slated for demolition in Chicago’s south side, are returned to vibrant life.
