This one’s personal. Lindsay Clancy’s story has stayed with me… after filming this video yesterday I couldn’t sleep last night thinking about her kids. The loss of those three babies is an absolute nightmare, and no matter the circumstances, it’s evil, and it’s something we have to do everything in our power to prevent from ever happening again. It also brought up my own experience trying to get support after having kids: a rushed diagnosis, a medication that didn’t work, and later, in Spain, finally getting the kind of careful, attentive psychiatric care I needed. I talk through why postpartum care needs to catch up, and why moms deserve more time and attention during this transition, because that support matters, even as nothing excuses what happened to those kids.
Then I answer three questions from moms in our community: navigating health issues while caring for two young kids, feeling “still postpartum” at 6 months while pressure builds to bounce back, and feeling like you’re failing because you don’t have systems and routines figured out.
If you want one-on-one support, email me at jessdianehover@gmail.com - I’d love to help if I can.

Are working moms really to blame for their kids’ struggles? That’s what a lot of content online is suggesting, and as someone who has lived this, coached working moms around the world, and knows how much you’re already carrying, I needed to respond.
In this video we cover:
• Why the “working mom = poor bonding” narrative is an oversimplification
• What the research actually says about attachment and connection
• The real reason so many working moms feel like they’re failing at everything
• Practical ways to bond deeply with your kids even with a full life
• And a personal story about the moment my husband said exactly what I needed to hear
This isn’t about whether you should work or stay home. That’s your call. This is about thriving in the life you actually have.
