My mother passed away this past January at the age of 91. In loving memory of her, I arranged a medley of three songs for her funeral -- "Mom" by (Lena Machado), "I'll Always Love My Mama" (by the Intruders), and "Wind Beneath My Wings" (made famous by Bette Midler). I sang while playing the ukulele but could barely finish due to the rush of the emotion I felt. For I won't ever forget her gentleness despite having to work hard to raise her big family. Thanks, Mom, and rest in peace, love, and aloha.
