A mammoth lift in Ballarat!

17 Crews at Ballarat have lifted a 65-tonne pedestrian overpass and 2 lifts into place at Ballarat Station - the weight of around 9 woolly mammoths!

The overpass will connect 1 lift to each platform, allowing people to safely cross the rail line without needing to leave the station when it opens in April 2026.
