Trying to keep redundancy down here at my little channel, I still think I would like to try to capture the beauty in this large opal I'm presently working with. We had a bit of sunshine this afternoon so I dashed outside to try to photograph this opal in hopes of catching its natural colors to share with viewers here. I will admit that regardless of all the wonderful gemstones I've worked with over the decades since the 1970s, this one sings to my soul as well as any of the finest I've ever handled.
