[A message to my past self]
Hi Rachelle, I'm 26 years old! You probably didn't think that we'd make it to this age lol. Just keep on going a bit more, things will get better! You will become braver, brighter, more loving... still an anxious mess, still a crybaby, but you will learn to live with it, and enjoy the sunny days. I've achieved many dance goals, and more! (it took us 9 years to form a crew though, hahaha) Some things I didn't achieve, but it's because they don't matter to me anymore. I've paved my own path, it's a weird and unique one, but it fits our strengths and desires perfectly. I've made so many friends, and lived all these memories. I hope you will look forward to them, and look forward to life!

When I posted my first cover in September 2015, I was a completely different person. My struggle with depression landed me in the hospital twice that year. For the latter half of 2015, I wasn't attending school so that I could recover. My friends all graduated at the end of the year, and I felt very alone.
Dance changed the trajectory of my life. It's like a miracle happened, that I knew what I wanted to do and what kind of person I wanted to become. And then, I worked really really really hard to will my dreams into existence. I'm proudly here today as the one who didn't give up on life, who dreamed big, and helped to bring the odottemita community to where it is today.
