An open day will be held next week to allow people to view the newly renovated Tricorn House.
Tricorn House was built in 1975 to be used as offices for the Department of Health and Social Security until its closure in 1996 and has been empty until it was bought by Vilednik Holdings Ltd at the end of 2022 and redeveloped.
Next week’s open day will offer the first 12 flats to people interested in renting, with prices ranging from £775 to £1,100 per calendar month.
Nick Devonport, managing director of CGT Lettings, told Stroud Times: “Tricorn House is going to launch onto the market on the 14th of May. There are 44 one-bedroom apartments in total, finished to a really high standard - you've got new kitchens, new bathrooms - the kitchens have got built-in appliances with fridge freezer and washing machines.
“You've got electric heating, double glazing, which is really good. We are on a busy road here, but the reality is when you get up to the top floors and middle floors, you close the windows, you really are secluded from sound.
“You've got these incredible views that look over the five valleys, which are just breathtaking and you're probably about seven minutes from the town centre. We have put together a website so people can go online and have a look at this dedicated showcase that we've put together.
“Customers and tenants will be able to look at the available properties and the prices. They'll be able to look at floor plans, look at all the pictures that we put together, but they'll also be able to look at the footprint of the building and actually select properties and actually see how much it's going to cost to live there, not just the rent, but obviously the cost of utilities.”
