Massive thank you to Richard from Watermouth Castle for inviting me over to have a look at the Big River Ride.

The Big River Ride opened to the public in 2001 providing a relaxing lazy ride for all younger audiences and families.

Supplied by WGH Ltd, of Doncaster, project W347, the ride originally opened at Crinkley Bottom in Cricket St Thomas in July 1995 and operated until 1998. Watermouth Castle purchased the ride system including the conveyor belt, boats and trough, and turned the ride into an open-air lazy ride. The ride runs with 7 boats on a 100m course.
