Leslie Monhollen, a Spring 2026 graduate from the University of Kentucky Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, shares how her love of learning, family farm background and passion for agriculture education shaped her path toward the classroom.
A first-generation college graduate from Williamsburg, Kentucky, Monhollen found her calling through hands-on agriculture classes, FFA leadership and student teaching in Jessamine County. As she prepares for what comes next, she hopes to pay it forward by creating a classroom where all students can learn, grow and feel supported.
