Thank you to those who have asked for a video outlining my skin care regime; it's very flattering. Also, apologies to you because... well... watch the video. 😋
In case it isn't abundantly obvious, I am not a skin care expert of any sort. I'm not very knowledgeable about ingredients, tools, products, etc. and I highly recommend that if you do have concerns about your skin that you consult with an expert rather than simply following recommendations from people on the internet.
One skin care creator that I do trust is @JamesWelsh as he brings a lot of knowledge without being pushy/salesy and he actively works to debunk skin care myths and to bring awareness to dangerous "hacks" etc online. I also love his videos on the use of filters as it is so easy, even at my age, to fall victim to comparison anxiety. Seeing how filters can manipulate the subject's skin and seeing how difficult it is to detect some of those filters has been very helpful in reminding me that we can't take everything we see online as truth.
