Characters: Dylan (dark ginger hair) and Jonathan (black hair)
Story: Dylan recently became Prince Jonathan's servant, and for months Jonathan has been trying to befriend him for his own protection. Dylan has been having none of it because he thinks that Jonathan will turn out to be like the tyrant King, but a series of events opened his eyes and he has slowly started putting his trust into the Prince.
They start to get to know each other, and this scene marks both the beginning of their friendship and the beginning of a much deeper relationship. And although Jonathan was the one who initially asked if a kiss would be fine, he prefaces it with "Can I be selfish again?" He knows that his time on Earth is limited, and much as he wants to be with Dylan, he doesn't want to drag him into something that won't last. And Dylan knows only that he has fallen for someone he has stubbornly hated for months.
