Welcome my Wayward Witches and Wayward Souls.
This month is known for many as the month of love, and it can cause a lot of hurts and wounds for those who have never felt worthy of receiving love. It's not all roses and chocolates and candle light dinners. For some, it's a time to embrace shadow work around the most basic spiritual journey, self-acceptance. Before you can embark on a journey of self-care, you need to feel self-love. But I learned over the years, and am still learning, that before I can fully embrace self-love, I have to embrace self-acceptance.
The journey I am sharing with you this month is a personal one. The rituals are ones I created for my own journey, and I share them with you here in perfect love, and perfect trust, with harm to none. They are not shared seeking self-pity, or any other such energy. They are shared to remind you that you hold the power to change your narrative, to honour your scars, to take ownership of your own responsibility in your journey (the good, bad and ugly of it) and in the end, to embrace yourself as a holistic spiritual being.
Working with the concept of Kitsugi, in this ritual we will Spirit-Craft A Witch’s Shield of Power. Like any knight, your shield has protected you through many battles, and it is scarred and worn. Honour each scar, each break for the strength it has given you in the end. You Survived. Honour that with A Witch’s Shield of Power.
