In this project, we show you how a home can reach a new level of self-sufficiency, efficiency, and comfort thanks to the complete integration of all its systems.
Located in Isona (Lleida), Spain, this second home was conceived with a very clear objective: to minimize external dependence and intelligently manage all available resources. To achieve this, a combination of technologies such as geothermal energy, photovoltaics, battery storage, and advanced automation with LOXONE has been implemented.
The result is a home where everything works in a coordinated manner:
- Intelligent energy management that optimizes production, storage, and consumption
- Complete control of climate, humidity, and air quality
- Indoor pool with advanced strategies to prevent condensation and reduce consumption
- Integrated electric vehicle charging points
- Centralized control from a single app, accessible from anywhere
One of the project's greatest achievements is the simplification of the user experience. Through different modes (occupied, unoccupied, vacation), the home automatically adapts its behavior to guarantee comfort, efficiency, and security at all times.
Furthermore, automation allows many actions to happen naturally, without constant user intervention: occupancy-sensitive lighting, automatic energy management, and real-time remote control.
This case demonstrates that the key is not adding more technology, but integrating it intelligently. With LOXONE, a complex installation becomes a simple, efficient, and future-proof system.
