Spiritfall combines the roguelite formula with platform fighter controls and mechanics to great effect. Super satisfying combat meshes well with a fun spirit blessing system to give runs plenty of variety, and a large number of different enemies keeps things interesting. It has quite a bit of depth when it comes to figuring out the best ways to use each weapon, and there are several different meta-progression currencies to earn and spend. Very solid.
