I’m starting at the San Sebastián commercial centre near Adeje and heading down a road I’ve never explored before. The walk takes us past new developments, quiet streets and some seriously impressive villas, with views back towards Costa Adeje and the surrounding area.
After the uphill return, I stop at Bar Restaurante San Sebastián beside the BP station for one of my favourite bargains: an enormous bacon bocadillo with extra bacon. We also look through the menu and discover just how much food you can still get for a very reasonable price in Tenerife.
