A Hat Made of Mexico was a feature-length absurd mostly-improvised comedy film we (myself and Murray Barnes, primarily) worked on from 2004-2007 before abandoning. The process did spawn our two webseries PMT Jazzattack and Rooster Cogburn: Official Wildlife Expert.
There are five miniDV tapes full of A Hat Made of Mexico material almost nobody has ever seen, so I've decided to edit together a few of the funnier scraps of material as curios for folks to stumble across and dislike.
In these outtakes guest performer Cameron Ferguson tries and fails to get through a single paragraph of material from a documentary tribute to Murray Barnes who was supposed to die in the film. The level of professionalism on show here should easily explain why we never finished making A Hat Made of Mexico.
Also, in hindsight DV looks TERRIBLE. You could shoot easily better looking stuff on a phone these days.
