Disclaimer: The idea behind this series was to reveal how Frank Herbert pronounced words in his dune novels while offering alternatives based on the Arabic roots of those words, if any. Herbert tried to pronounce all non-English terms with their correct pronunciations, but some languages, like Arabic are harder than others. This series merely offers insight into the pronunciations as close as possible to their accuracy. This by no means is meant to replace Frank Herbert’s pronunciations which are considered canon.
