The people of Termina feel a change in the air, a subtle shift that carries an edge of malice. Crops wither, animals grow restless, and the land itself groans sunder an unseen weight.
In Clock Town, the whispers grow louder, and a strange symbol begins to appear, etched onto walls and doorways – a twisted mark that seems to distort the air it touches.
Princess Zelda, bearer of the Triforce of Wisdom, hears the same call that reached Link's ears. She senses that deep within the Sacred Realm, where all things – night and day, hope and despair – are held in tension, the holiest of ancient relics is being corrupted by an evil power.
She knows that if the Cloak of Light has fallen into evil hands, the future of Termina, Hyrule, and all other worlds could be on a precipice, and that she must call upon her old friend to wrestle with the wickedness that is stirring…

In the land of Termina, an uneasy peace had settled after the heroic deeds of the young hero, Link, and the miraculous vanquishing of the ominous moon that threatened to destroy the world.
But the winds of fortune were shifting once more, and a dark omen swept across the land from far beyond its borders. The Triforce, a relic of immense power, began to resonate with an evil force, calling out to Link and foretelling of an old and terrible power rising again…
