Van life is always an adventure and camping in the rain, cold, wind and even hail couldn't stop this epic day in Florence Oregon. It has been raining nonstop for a week with wind and hail, but we finally had a break in the rain, but not the wind, to explore Florence, Oregon. The sand dunes by the Pacific Ocean and jetty are breathtaking and it feels so good to be outside in some sunshine even with my hair blowing all over the place. Even my dog Lily had a kick in her step as she jumped, ran, and hopped around in the sand. Florence Oregon is such a cute place with so much to experience.
If you're ever in the area, I highly recommend spending some time here. It's a beautiful place with lots to see and do.

VAN LIFE INTRUDER in Leadville Colorado / Downside of Van Life. Ive been living in my van for a few over 3 years now and Im really enjoying it. But there are some downsides, one of which is the mice that come out at night to play while we sleep. They can be kind of annoying when youre trying to sleep and the damage that mice can create in an RV and a van is really horrible. Not to mention that mouse droppings everywhere in such a small space when you live in your van full time.

Hi, Im Amber and in May 2017 I started full time RV living. I started this nomadic journey after selling my house and all my belongings to pursue this crazy dream of traveling full time in an RV and creating incredible memories.
After 1 year of traveling, I sold my 26 foot Winnebago Class C RV for a more nimble Class B van on a Promaster 2500 chassis. Now in my 4th year of RVing in my camper van, Im still loving this RV lifestyle and being a digital nomad. I almost always boondock in nature and really enjoy that off grid living.
