The Lawrence Hall of Science | A Great Conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn is Coming! A Search the Sky Activity @lawrencehallofscience | Uploaded 3 years ago | Updated 18 hours ago
Actually, the conjunction is no longer coming. Since 12/21/2020 Jupiter and Saturn have been separating, as it appears from the point of view of Earth. In the early days of January Jupiter and Saturn became lost in the sunset. They will be back in the morning sky in 3/2021 as a pretty pair, but not extraordinarily close to each other. Happy New Year!
