I made a frilly Victorian, 1840's cap for my Muppet Christmas Carol Miss Piggy cosplay costume! 19th century fashion history is so interesting and I really love how much detail the costumers of this movie put into the costumes! I think that the Muppet Christmas Carol is the best adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. They certainly have the best costumes, in my opinion, and the songs are excellent. What's not to love? I made this cap with a pattern from Mimic of Modes and used some leftover cotton and gathered lace trim. This sewing project is easy, and a great beginner sewing project!
