(Exhausted, fatigue, panting) “how.. long have I been walking..? Where is my family?…I-…”
(Aggressive, furious) (gasp of surprise) “Who are you?!”
(Less hostile, calm) “Oh, so that’s why I don’t feel anything anymore.”
(Confused, overwhelmed) “u- uhhh.. *small pause* what’s a tribe?”
(thinking) “should I really trust them? I mean.. they seem quite nice..”
(Realisation) “huh?.. *small pause* is he… observing my shoulder wound?”
(Confused) “why does he care so much?.. I’m an outsider to them! Had they grown up never having to fend for themselves?”
(Recalling memories) “back when I was raised, fennec foxes did live in groups, however, cared for none other than close family. Food was a precious commodity and had no room for companions..”
(Sad realisation) “and… that’s all I can really recall from my past. I can’t remember who my mother or father was, and..”
“Wait.. what even IS a tribe? I mean, the thought of these ‘tribes’ roaming this vast expanse of land never even crossed my mind!”
(Confused) “eh?..”
(Flustered) “Oh, shut it!”
(Still flustered) “hmph..”
(Caught by surprise) “ack!-“ *small pause, before letting out a gasp of pure awe*
(Awestruck) “woah…” (surprised) “hm? Oh!”
(Awkward, intimidated) “er… m-my name is Akira..! Nice to meet you..”
(Confused, thinking) “what’s so wrong about being outside during the day? I thought it was just the unenjoyable heat of the sun..”
(Nervous) “y-yeah! It’s not their fault!.. blame me!”
STONE:
(Irritated, but a lil playful) “Quit your rambling, Cecelia! I bet on my left ear you’ve just confused the newcomer even more.”
(Neutral) “we’ll talk about that once we get to the tribes burrow, *small pause* are you able to walk?”
(Proud) “found it.”
(Playful, teasing) “Vixens first.”
*chuckles*
CECELIA:
(Excited) “Hi!”
(Optimistic, Comforting) “Don’t worry, Scruffy! It’ll be okay!” :D
(Excited, enthusiastic, speaking quickly) “Are you gonna be part of our tribe? Please join our tribe! I can’t wait to show you the tribes burrow! Where did you come from? Are you an outsider? I can’t wait— (muffled) hmph!”
(Chuckling with embarrassment) “Er.. Sorry, Stone.”
(Innocent, Frustrated) “Hey! I’m a vixen too!”
(Panicked, loud whisper) “Psst! Akira!”
*Enthusiastic giggle*
SCRUFFY:
(Anxious, disgusted) “e-eugh! Just t-thinking about it makes me g-gag..”
(Slightly calmer, a lil flustered) “u-uhh.. thank you..”
(Overwhelmed, scared) *wince*
VIOLA:
(Questioning solemnly) “River, Stone, who is this outsider you have brought into the tribes burrow?”
(Irritated) “Out for some air? You were gone for almost a DAY.”
(Trying to hide anger, but failing to do so) “that means you have most likely been outside during broad daylight. Why is that?”
(Calm, more gentle tone) *sigh* “I understand. But anyway, it isn’t much big of a deal if it was for an important reason. Just don’t let it happen again.”
(Soft, welcoming) “You look skinny, how about we get you something to eat?”
RIVER:
(Introducing, calm) “My name is River, the healer of the Sand Tribe.”
(Explaining, Recalling) “We found you lying on the ground bearing a nasty shoulder wound, so I decided to patch it up with some cobwebs and dried weeds.”
(Welcoming, proud) “Welcome to the tribes burrow.”
(Firm, respectful) “I apologise for impending to inform you sooner, Viola; We were out for some air when we spotted her unconscious, carrying a shoulder wound that looked like it would leave a lifelong scar.”
(Still Firm and respectful) “She was found quite a long way from the Tribes Burrow, and it had taken a while to search for the correct herbs to tend to her wound.”
