Well, this is unexpected. ChaosKitten has informed me that he'd really like to try playing this game with me, so we did. What is this game, you may ask? Well, it's a first-person shooter where you play as a team of characters who are essentially anthropomorphic pieces of Chex Mix and shoot mutant alien slime boogers with laser guns. No, nothing about this makes any more sense in context. We played the training mode, where you just have to defeat increasingly more difficult waves of enemies until you die.
Unrelatedly, yes, I did see the Nintendo Direct, or at least parts of it. I'm not into Xenoblade or Kingdom Hearts, so I still don't have much reason to get a Switch 2, unfortunately.
