Personal issues kept us at home much longer than the intended "Holiday visit". After surviving bitter cold January weather, strep throat and influenza A, the reward was actually getting to spend Winter Field Day with my local club and test the new plastic clamps for my DX Commander Expedition! The Wichita Amateur Radio Club needed a CW op to take advantage of the multiplier bonuses, and of course I had to speak up. Here we go.
