So, today we are out and about walking once again in the pretty Cotswold village of Lower Slaughter, which is located in Gloucestershire, England. It is located 4 miles South West of Stow-on-the-Wold and has a population of just under 200. The River Eye runs through the centre of the village. The village is home to the Lords of the Manor Hotel which dates back to 1649. Lower Slaughter has its own parish church which is the Church of St Peter.
