6 1/2 x 9 1/2 inch journal with a 2 1/4 inch spine
A Fairy is Born Journal is whimsical with a bit of a vintage feel. A custom book cover with faux metal corners and raised elements encloses four signatures (110 pages) that have been hand sewn to the rounded spine using a hidden pamphlet stitch binding. A hitch post and muslin are used to fasten this journal. Tea/coffee dyed papers live in this journal. It is a journal with simple pages, tuck spots, accent elements, envelopes, and it has lots of journaling space. This journal is entirely handmade.
Detail is important to me in creating an appealing and usable journal that becomes a unique piece of original art. This journal will be great for the occasional journal entry, pictures, secrets, memorabilia, doodles, sketching, stamping and much more.
