The Unmanned Systems Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have released footage showing a drone attack on a Russian Mi-28 helicopter over Russia’s Belgorod Oblast.
According to Robert “Magyar” Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, the Russian Mi-28 helicopter was attacked by a USF drone and crashed near the village of Vyazovoye in Belgorod Oblast on the morning of July 15. He did not specify which of the two known villages with that name he was referring to.
The Russian side has not reported the loss of the helicopter.
The Mi-28N “Night Hunter” is a Russian attack helicopter designed to locate and destroy armored vehicles, engineering fortifications, personnel, and low-speed aerial targets.
