Flobots emcee Jonny 5 teamed up with multi-instrumentalist (guitar, banjo, drums) singer/ songwriter/animator Laura Goldhamer and multimedia turntablist DJ RIPM to create "A Deeper Party", a genre-splicing audiovisual project that will rock your world.
A Deeper Party will immerse the audience in collaboration, with Jonny 5 performing select lyrics from his "Rhyme of the Day" series over a tapestry of music and video woven by DJ RIPM and interspersed with songs and animation from Laura Goldhamer and her sentient drum machine, Roboctopus. An assembled cast of special guests will add to the intrigue.
In addition to bringing the party, the evening's music will address social justice themes, including climate change, police violence, and immigration reform.
