Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants To Be - Week 2
I posted a previous video that seemed to resonate with a lot of people “Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants To Be.”
I’ve been thinking about it and would like to delve deeper into this mantra of mine that I’ve been using for years to get work done. So for the next several weeks, months, however long it takes I’d like to talk more about this topic.
Last week I only talked about the actual physical act of putting yourself in the setting. In front of a typewriter, in a studio, with your guitar, your mountain bike, etc. But I’ve found this saying goes much deeper than this. Yes, there’s the physical level, and its important – don’t get me wrong. But there’s a deeper metaphysical level, a spiritual level, I think it enters into Karma. When we commit, really put our ass on the line, amazing things start to happen.
Truth is as I’m writing about this I’m also finding realms I’ve never consciously thought about. The ways this mantra has changed me and kept me going. So I hope you’ll stick with me. The road might be bumpy sometimes and I can’t promise exactly where it’s going to lead, but I believe we’ll all learn something on the way. Put Your Ass Where Your Heart Wants To Be.
