No manga has ever brought more baggage into its anime adaptation than Chainsaw Man. For years now it's been touted as the next best thing with fanart and screenshots constantly flooding social media.
Now that it's finally released, it was always going to be tough to live up to the hype, and yet somehow Chainsaw Man has exceeded it. It's a marvelous adaptation, with stunning EDs and gripping storytelling. It's the best anime of the fall season and maybe one of the best adaptations of all time.
