Nid oes iachâd ar gyfer Parkinson's, ond gyda'r gofal a'r gefnogaeth gywir, gall pobl fyw'n dda gyda'r cyflwr.
Ond nid oes gan filoedd o bobl fynediad at y gofal sydd ei angen arnynt. Nid yw digon o weithwyr gofal a gweithwyr iechyd proffesiynol yn deall y cyflwr. Ac mae diffyg arbenigwyr yn golygu na all pobl gael y cymorth sydd ei angen arnynt, pan fydd ei angen arnynt.
Ers 1996, rydym wedi buddsoddi mwy na £15 miliwn mewn ariannu, hyfforddi a chefnogi nyrsys Parkinson's. Ond gydag 1 o bob 5 o bobl â Parkinson's heb fynediad neu fynediad cyfyngedig at y gefnogaeth hon, a thraean o nyrsys Parkinson's ar fin ymddeol erbyn 2030, mae angen mwy o nyrsys ac arbenigwyr. Dyna pam rydym wedi lansio ein Hapêl Nyrsys.

Specialist nurses like Gwen are a lifeline for the Parkinson’s community.
There is no cure for Parkinson’s, but with the right care and support, people can live well with the condition.
But thousands of people don’t have access to the care they need. Not enough health and care professionals understand the condition. And a lack of specialists means people can’t get the help they need, when they need it.
Since 1996, we’ve invested more than £15 million into funding, training and supporting Parkinson’s nurses. But with 1 in 5 people with Parkinson's with limited or no access to this support, and a third of Parkinson's nurses set to retire by 2030, more nurses and specialists are needed. That's why we've launched our Nurse Appeal.
