After months of traveling, Full-time RV living brought us to Chicago to see the sights. Since Rachel and I have been to Chicago before, we stayed away from the expensive attractions in order to make it through the day on less than $100. Visiting Chicago on a $100 budget is definitely possible, even for a family of 4.
Our whirlwind trip through Chicago took us down Michigan Ave when we stopped at Dylans Candy Bar, the Nike, Disney, Lego and Americans Girl Doll stores. Once we had lunch, we swung by Navy Pier to soak up the sun and then back into town for a walk through Millemum Park where we the girls played at the Maggie Daley Park Playground before seeing the Cloud Gate (aka The Bean).
Our quick trip through Chicago was quite enjoyable and we managed to pull it off by spending less than $100. If you're thinking about visiting Chicago, it can definitely be done on a $100 budget.
