So, recently, I had the chance to finally watch the classic anime, "Neon Genesis Evangelion" for the first time, and I DEEPLY regret missing out on such a masterpiece of a show for all these years. I loved it so much that I decided I was going to cover a song from the show, and I had two main choices that stuck out to me.
I wanted to cover "Komm, Susser Tod," but I couldn't find a good enough instrumental for it. So, I went back to my first choice, which was the opening theme song for this anime, "A Cruel Angel's Thesis." Which is probably the best song of the bunch, and is quickly becoming one of my favorite anime openings - if not television openings - of all time.
For those reasons and more, this was one of my favorite covers to record, and so I really hope you enjoy it! :)

In all seriousness, this is a really special song to me. After all, it was the first song I ever wrote back in 2015 or 16. And I have been working on it for a long time, trying to get a full, non-demo version of the song out for that long, and after years of hard work, what you hear today is the final result. I really hope you all enjoy it! :)
Please note that I am only uploading a lyric video of this song for now. I did have an idea for a music video, but unfortunately due to the ongoing pandemic, there is no way I can currently execute that idea safely. I will eventually shoot and release a music video once things are safer, but until then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the song! :D
