I can't classify this as a casual upload given the amount of time I worked on it, but this isn't exactly my regular upload either, so I'll just take this video as a special since we're nearly at 10,000 subs.
Here's to the hardcore Evangelion and Zankoku na Tenshi no Teeze fans. Yes, I played this 16 separate times, this is not something that you can record once and play it back with different voices. The arrangement is relatively the same, but a different voice requires different technique due to the different sustain pedal behaviors of each sound, with some of the voices changing dramatically depending on how hard you press the keys. Adjustments were made to adapt to the voice's characteristics. Some voices are a lot harder to control than the others.
The Roland RP301 is pretty much the only sub-$1000 digital piano I know to have this many high-quality voices, graded + weighted keys with escapement, and extensive sound modifications.

This song has basically been stuck inside my head ever since I finished the series and End of Evangelion. It's one of the songs which I can loop for 50 times at a time and won't get bored of.

About this Cover & Project:
Every time I learn a new song, I play them on different voices to hear how they would sound, but this is the first time that I'm releasing a cover of a single song played on different voices on YouTube. The Roland RP301 has 4 grand piano sounds, 4 ensemble sounds, and 22 other voices. This cover showcases the first grand piano sound (GP1) and 15 of the other voices, totaling 16 different sounds.
University classes have already started, so I had to find some spare time to do this video. I recorded the first 8 voices first and continued the last 8 about a week later, with the editing process taking another day.

This video is 1.67 GB in size with 34,771 individual frames. It took 40 minutes to render even with GPU acceleration from AMD RX 460, and around 3 hours to upload.

About the song:
Nirvana (ニルヴァーナ) is MUCCs single used as the opening theme song for Inu x Boku SS, released in 2012 as part of their Shangri-La album. The song expresses the feeling of loneliness of a broken world, missing someone, and trying to find that someone in a new, unseen world, a nirvana. This is one of animes most underrated theme songs.
About the cover:
Ive been wanting to cover this for a very, very long time! Inu x Boku SS is one of my favorite romantic comedy anime, from Kagerous S or M categorization to good morning my b**th.....
The song manages to be both powerful and beautiful yet melancholic, something thats quite difficult to achieve. This is one of the very few piano covers of the song.

Re-upload info:
Due to multiple graphical glitches and audio-video synchronization issues, I decided to fix and reupload the video. It turns out that the newer build of VEGAS Pro 16 arent that friendly with rendering. Those are minor glitches lasting only a fraction of a second each, which is why I notice them after I uploaded the video, but the OCD part of me made those haunt me for life and I felt like Id regret it if I let them be so I decided to reupload the corrected versions. Some visuals that arent in sync with the audio are corrected, as well as minor changes in the camera angles at the end. The video was also rendered at 25 Mbps, up from its previous 20 Mbps to reduce compression loss.

About the song:
Charles (シャルル) is an original song by Balloon featuring Vocaloids flower for its vocals. Its unclear what the songs really about because I found no official explanation, but the lyrics suggests that its about love, conflicts, and the pain of breaking up.
This song looks easy to play when its not. Its far from being easy, in fact. The intro alone took quite some time to get used to.
About the cover:
I went all out with this, both with the performance and post-production. Charles has become my new all-time favorite song. Its my first favorite Vocaloid song not sung by Miku. flowers voice is really unique and fits in the song really nicely. The chorus really got me hooked, the lyrics are really poetic, and I particularly took interest in its music video which is simple yet represents the song beautifully with sketch-style graphics, beat-mapped visuals and lots of implications giving it an artistic value. I like the music video so much that I decided to recreate the beat-mapped visuals, which took quite some time to do.
This is my first project to feature masking, and is also my first video / cover to use VST. The one I use in this video is Addictive Keys by XLN Audio, with the grand piano sound sampled from a Steinway Model D. The amount of sound customization you can do is incredible, and I can confirm that it sounds just like the real thing. Its like having a Steinway which you can tune to your liking instantly right in your bedroom which is awesome.
The arrangement is mostly my own, with bits and cues borrowed from Marasys arrangement because his cover is a beauty on its own.

The Disappearance of Hatsune Miku is an original song by cosMo and is one of his most notable songs. It is about Mikus uninstallation. Miku realizes that she is not equal to a human being, but her wish is to keep on singing. This song is known for its speed, which peaks at 240 BPM.
About the cover:
This is one of the most difficult songs Ive covered. Its more difficult to learn than Cirnos Perfect Math Class and no less difficult to execute, but its been a while since I had so much fun playing a new arrangement. This song is really fun to play, it just flows once youve learned it, and I find myself headbanging at times.
Many of you might think that the most difficult part is the drill at the very end. While it does take a while to figure out, its not that hard once you know what keys to press. The real difficult part is where Miku sings very rapidly. That might sound counter-intuitive since its basically the same notes over and over again, but my right arm muscles arent very happy about that part and 240 BPM. My favorite part of the song is the chorus, its such an ear worm and I couldnt stop humming the melody at times, its so beautiful.
This arrangement is largely based on Marasys arrangement fused with my own parts and style.

This is the 37th track on A Shape of Light album disk 1 by Kensuke Ushio for the movie Koe no Katachi. This is one of the more tense soundtracks in the film, and also one of the most memorable.
About this cover:
Ive been wanting to cover this soundtrack, but was not quite sure if I could pull this off and make it sound right. I finally decided to give it a go, and heres the result. It requires a bit of mixing magic for this to sound just right.
About the project:
This cover consists of 25 audio and video tracks in total, 8 of which are the sounds you hear in this video.
I had to play the piano sounds separately because each of them requires different effects and needs to be put in separate tracks.
