Congressman Jamie Raskin represents Maryland’s 8th congressional district and is the ranking member of the House Committee on Oversight. He was the lead impeachment manager in the second Senate trial of Donald Trump and a member of the Select Committee on the January 6th Attack on the Capitol. In 2022, his book “We the Students” was banned in Texas and the same week, Vladimir Putin banned him for life from Russia for his pro-Ukrainian activities.

Sanford J. Ungar (moderator), president emeritus of Goucher College, is director of the Free Speech Project at Georgetown University, which documents challenges to free expression in American education, government, and civil society. Director of the Voice of America under President Bill Clinton, he was also dean of the American University School of Communication and is a former co-host of "All Things Considered" on NPR.
