This time we try hard to make it to the finish (on easiest difficulty).
You (probably) know how the official ports handle. In this bootleg conversion the automotive/physics simulation is very badly recreated. Such as:
-the frame-rate is even more painful (probably by a valid technical reason, but still)
-there is no inertia, you either accelerate, or the car is stopping
-gear shifting is useless, it just raises the limit on the top speed (and always manual)
-you can always blow your engine, even in the topmost gear
-the curves are like there are black holes sucking you out of the track on the outer lane
-on grass the tires get damaged ...and in curves you're always on the grass
-once you get into the pit stop to repair the tires, there's no way out!
-plus, there is no prize giving ceremony!
But beside the poorly understood/coded aspects, there are also intentionally added features, like the ignition start, and that the mirrors can get damaged. I bet the kid was proud of himself that he could even enhance the realism of a simulator with such pedantic (although questionably useful) details. In his place I most likely I would have :D

![Reach for the Sky [Commodore 16 | Plus/4 game]
Probably the most barebone 1942 inspired shootemup game ever, altough frantic action is going on and you have to keep ramming that fire button! By the way, if you hear something that doesnt belong to the game, that means the experiment worked!

![Oils Well [Commodore 16 | Plus/4 game]
Pac-Man on a leash... I didnt get to the second level even when I was overly careful. Why does it have to restore every single piece when I die? Also, there is no sound in the game. Oils Well [Commodore 16 | Plus/4 game]](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/T_1Q-iRgfwM/mqdefault.jpg)
![Way of the Exploding Fist [Commodore Plus/4 game]
Demo mode running first then gameplay starts at 1:14. I am on the right side. I managed to score half a ying-yang about twice, which is better than nothing...

![Stab N Dash [Commodore Plus/4 game]
Dont be fooled by the title, this is another port of Green Beret (or Gray Beret?), this time in 64K. (Ignore my gameplay, Im playing more like Pussy Beret here.)
Original game by Konami in 1986.

![The Bards Tale III: Thief of Fate [Commodore Plus/4 game*]
A complex RPG converted to the +4, but the asterisk is, I have no idea where the character disk is, so we just see the intro. It would be a nicely animated intro, but even the C64 version had that Apple II hi-res mode graphics converted without a proper re-work. In the UK the Amstrad CPC getting crude Spectrum conversions, but it seems in the US, the C64 was getting crude Apple II conversions.
Apple II/C64 game by Interplay and EA in 1988.

Pac-man with puzzle-solving, interesting.
