After June Curtin lost her husband to suicide, she was dealing with difficult depression. She found herself at a crossroad in life and she could decide to either sink or swim. Coming from the beautiful seaside village of Spanish Point in the west of Ireland, that's when she had an idea. Every morning she would go down to the sea and swim - no matter how cold, wet or windy the weather was. What started as a solo initiative to try and improve her mental health soon caught on, and the entire community got behind her. Here is her amazing story.
