Two special railcars, operated by Ensco on behalf of the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), were on display at Washington Union Station. DOTX 220 runs high speed tests with a variety of equipment, while DOTX 218 checks railroad ties (it's called Gage Restraint Measurement).
