Take a closer look at the Legion of Honor’s Auguste Rodin sculptures, one of the most important collections of the artist’s work outside of the Musée Rodin, Paris. About the curator
Jeffrey Fraiman, PhD, is associate curator of European decorative arts and sculpture. Since joining the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco in 2023, he has worked to research and catalogue the collection of medieval to modern European sculpture. He was the curator for FAMSF’s presentation of Art and War in the Renaissance: The Battle of Pavia Tapestries (2024–2025). Before coming to FAMSF, he held various roles at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (2015–2022) and was co-editor of the Met’s catalogue of Italian Renaissance bronzes.
