Very early this morning for the first time ever Blue Origin's partially reusable New Glenn rocket lifted off. This maiden flight not only included a launch and test payload but also the first booster landing attempt out at sea on the landing platform Jacklyn.
While the launch was successful and Blue Origin was able to reach orbit, the first booster landing attempt was not, and resulted in the loss of the booster in the Atlantic Ocean.
